Smart Undercroft Building Supporting Modern Amenity and Active Transport.

Punch Design partnered with the building’s landlord to deliver a purpose-built structure within the existing undercroft—transforming a previously underutilised area into a high-performance amenities hub that enhances the overall appeal and functionality of the site.

The new building accommodates a contemporary End-of-Trip (EoT) facility, complete with showers, changerooms, and secure lockers, offering tenants a clean, modern space to support active commuting. Adjacent to the EoT, we designed a secure bicycle and scooter store, encouraging sustainable transport and healthier daily routines.

In parallel, the redevelopment introduced new EV charging bays and consolidated waste bin storage—streamlining service access and improving site organisation.

Designed with user experience front-of-mind, the facility features generous ceiling heights, efficient spatial planning, and high-level ribbon windows that introduce natural light throughout, creating a bright, open, and user-friendly environment. The result is a tailored, future-focused solution that enhances tenant amenity and adds long-term value to the asset.
